Overview

Most long-haul truck drivers are white males. But that is changing as women from Central Asia and other regions show they can haul a load as good as a man. In these lesson activities, meet women who are breaking stereotypes and making a good living doing so.

The following activities and abridged text build off “Central Asian Women Hit the US Road,” written by J. Trevor Williams and photographed by Bear Gutierrez.
